Therapy with Mollie
When you work with me as a therapy client, you are engaging in licensed psychotherapy. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of New York, and all therapy services are provided under that professional licensure and its governing ethical and legal standards.
As a therapist, my work includes space for:
Clinical evaluation and assessment
Diagnostic discussion (when relevant or desired)
Psychoeducation about neurodivergence, trauma, and mental health
Intentional use and naming of therapeutic modalities
Processing emotional wounds, patterns, and nervous system responses
Therapy tends to focus on your inner world first — how your brain works, how your nervous system responds, and how past experiences shape your present. From there, we gently expand outward into relationships, behaviors, and life context.
Sessions may feel more reflective and exploratory, with language that names psychological frameworks and clinical concepts. This can be especially supportive if you are:
Processing complex or developmental trauma
Exploring diagnosis or late diagnosis
Seeking structured clinical support
Wanting psychotherapy covered by insurance (when applicable)
Therapy services are available only to clients physically located in New York, in accordance with licensing laws.
